Art H Honors Student Research Presentations @UW @UWArtSci

On Thursday, 01 March 2012, from 3:30-7:00pm in room 003 of the Art Building, join the nine Art History undergraduates who have completed their honors requirements and will present papers based on their research. Topics will include Carl Balth, Viollet-le-Duc, graffiti and street art, Abelardo Morell, Bellini and Orientalism, analog and digital videos, Victorian jewelry, Hollywood’s Pollock biopic, and Michelangelo’s Florentine Pietá.

In order to qualify for honors in Art History, these nine students have maintained a minimum 3.50 GPA in Art History course work, worked closely with faculty to develop research topics, completed two 20-page research papers, and participated in a graduate student seminar.

Congratulations to Alexa Anderson, Lena Hart Bundy , Alice (Dabney) Donigan, Levi Higgs, Natalie Karbelnig, Piper Milton, Kaitlin Nowlin, Natalie Raciborski, and Mairi Snow.

Refreshments will be served, and there will be a 30-minute break in the middle of the event.
