Lundin Lectures & Exhibit

by jcmills on November 10th, 2011

Painting + Drawing Professor Emeritus Norman Lundin continues to direct Prographica, a Seattle gallery for fine works on paper. The current exhibit, The Architectural View, includes three School of Art alumni: Eric Elliott (MFA 2007), Laura Hamje (BFA 2008), and Elizabeth Ockwell (BFA 1967). At 2pm on Saturday, 12 November 2011, Lundin is launching a series of informal talks in the gallery. The current exhibit will provide a starting point for a discussion about abstract versus traditional approaches to depicting subject matter.

Lundin’s own work will be featured in an exhibition at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, Willamette University. Titled Norman Lundin: Inside/Outside, the show will be up from 19 November 2011 through 22 January 2012. Lundin will be lecturing as part of the opening events at 5pm on Friday, 18 November 2011.
