The Tacoma Art Museum is having a lecture series title “Impressions of a Genre” to accompany the exhibit titled The Movement of Impressionism: Europe, America, and the Northwest. The first speaker in the series will be Susan Casteras (Professor, Art History) on Sunday, 07 February 2010, at 1pm. Her lecture is titled “Beyond French Impressionism”.
