We previously posted a link to the University Week article about the 2010 MFA exhibit. Several other positive notices have been posted online. Local artist and blogger Joey Veltkamp was enthusiastic about the show in a June 1st post. Online magazine, SunBreak, posted a June 4th article about the design students. Finally, Jen Graves wrote an article in The Stranger about her four favorite artists in the show. The Seattle Times has a very brief item, but the page includes a link to a video about the exhibit. Speaking of videos, the Henry Art Gallery has a YouTube channel where several videos related to the 2010 and 2009 MFA shows have been posted.

A recent Blog4Culture Public Art posting by intern Elizabeth Abrahamson (senior in SoA IVA) made us realize that we also have alumni who are part of Public Art 4Culture. Tamar Benzikry-Stern (BA 2005) is a project manager. Esther Luttikhuizen (MFA 1993), who joined 4Culture in 2008, is manager of the collection and Gallery4Culture. We think that Bill Whipple, who helps maintain the collection, received his BFA from the SoA in 1970. Profiles of all the Public Art 4Culture staff are online.
