Take a Virtual Tour

The University of Washington Bothell has launched a new website for students to explore their options at our campus. We've created an online viewbook for students to take a virtual campus tour, hear from real students about their experiences at UW Bothell, listen to faculty perspectives of our learning community, and discover the jobs our alumni have transitioned to once they have graduated.

UW Bothell Degree Programs: An Overview

Applied Computing (BA)

Focus on the application of computer technology to non-computing fields. Take elective courses to create a personalized hybrid degree that combines computing with a field of study of your choice.

Business Administration (BA)

Learn about leadership, management, effective oral and written communication and teamwork. There are five concentrations to choose from (Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Technology & Innovation Management) and one option (Accounting—read more below!).

Computing & Software Systems (BA)

Rethink the traditional computing degree with a computer science program that places a greater emphasis on software engineering and relevant business and management concepts.

Environmental Science (BS)

Address complex environmental challenges facing the world today by participating in community-based projects focusing on wetlands restoration, conservation planning, and regional air and water pollution. Two pathways are available: Conservation & Restoration Ecology and Earth System Science.

Interdisciplinary Studies (BA)

Develop your ability to think analytically, critically and imaginatively and learn to communicate logically and persuasively. Choose from one of the following options:

Nursing (RN – BSN)

The RN-BSN program is designed for registered nurses who wish to complete their Bachelor of Science degree. The curriculum combines the acclaimed program of the School of Nursing at UW Seattle with the interdisciplinary focus of UW Bothell, building a foundation of knowledge in nursing science, humanities, social science, and related professional coursework. A part-time RN-BSN program is now available in Mt. Vernon.

New Option in Accounting

During our current economic situation, students are interested in getting a degree that will lead to a great career. One great option is UW Bothell’s latest addition to the Business Administration program –Accounting. Demand for accountants is high as businesses work to plan, manage, and control their operations. Well-educated accountants with strong ethical values are needed to help prevent the types of practices that have led to well-publicized scandals.

After completing the Accounting option, students are eligible to take the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam. Students can also take the next step at UW Bothell to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). To take the CPA exam, a minimum of 225 quarter credits (Bachelor degree + 45 credits) is required.

In addition to public accounting, the Accounting Option will thoroughly prepare students for careers in private, government, and non-profit accounting. The curriculum is designed to enable graduates to fill a number of corporate positions such as internal auditor, managerial accountant, and tax accountant. Graduates will also be prepared to serve in government positions such as tax examiner, budget analyst, and government auditor.

Visit our website for more information on UW Bothell’s Business Administration program and the option in Accounting.
