The Graduation Celebration Committee and The Purple Group along with its partners is proud to announce the Annual Undocu Graduation Celebration. The event honors the accomplishments and resiliency of Undocu graduating students and their peers.

Join us in honoring your accomplishments at the University of Washington along with your family and friends. The graduation celebration includes an Undocu Grad stole, music, student and keynote speakers and a slideshow. Registration opening soon!
About the Undocu Graduation Celebration
The Undocu Graduation Celebration was created by students in partnership with Purple Group and its constituents and with support from the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, Leadership Without Borders.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Any UW Seattle campus student (undergraduate or graduate/doctoral candidate) completing a degree in Spring 2026, Summer 2026 or Fall 2026.
There is no priority seating, your family can sit together, on a first come first serve basis. Children, 2 years and older, will require their own seat; children under 2 years of age, may sit in the lap of an adult. Graduating students will be seated at the front.
Guests are encouraged to park in Central Garage, visit here for more visitor parking information.
Participation is FREE for graduating students and their families.
Registration opens soon and will close as soon as we reach capacity.
Check-in time will begin approximately 30 minutes before the event. You must be present at least 30 minutes before the event begins in order to participate.

We encourage you to wear your academic regalia (cap & gown) for this event.
The stole/sash is a gift from the graduation celebration committee to the participating students who have registered for the 2025 Undocu Graduation Celebration, you must be present the day of the celebration to receive it.
We will keep a waiting list however we cannot guarantee you will get an open seat.
The celebration is planned by the Purple Group graduation committee made up of students, faculty, and staff.
