Noemi Aguilar
My name is Noemi Aguilar. I am a sophomore intending to major in Nursing and part of CAMP Cohort 14. I am a first-generation college student from Mesa, WA. My goal is to become a NICU Registered Nurse. In my free time, I like to try new coffee shops, explore Seattle, and walk around campus. I also really enjoy visiting home and enjoying the peace and quiet of the country side.

Jesus Ambriz
My name is Jesus, and I am a rising senior in Civil Engineering. I am from Wapato, Washington, and was part of CAMP Cohort 12. My passions include running around Seattle and playing/watching any sport. My all-time dream is to build a skyscraper or bridge, which is why I chose to major in civil engineering. I plan to focus on either the structural or transportation side of civil engineering. From working in the fields of the Yakima Valley to exploring the city of Seattle, I’ve learned a lot and have much to share!

Erika Gaona
I am a third-year student at the University of Washington, pursuing a major in Education, Communities, and Organizations with a minor in Spanish. I am a first-generation student from Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities), and I am passionate about educational equity and diversity. I constantly seek ways to expand my knowledge and bring more inclusive practices into the education system. My goal is to one day be an elementary school teacher. I love exploring new restaurants and always looking for new places to hike!

Jennifer Garcia Mendoza
I’m a second year here at UW majoring in Food Systems, Nutrition and Health with an intended Global Health minor in order to become a Registered Dietitian. My career goal is to work with top athletes in sports dietetics or in a clinical setting with people of all ages. Despite my goal to work around sports, I unfortunately am not very athletic. I do, however, enjoy taking morning or evening walks whenever I have time to distract myself. Something I love to do is make music playlists, as I’m currently starting “My Playlist #55” on Spotify.

I am a rising senior majoring in civil engineering in hopes to work in land development or construction. I am a first-generation student from Chelan, WA. I’m a member of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc. and was part of CAMP’s cohort 12. I enjoy late night swims, going to concerts, the outdoors and exploring good eats!

I am a first-generation college student originally from Brewster, Washington. I was a part of CAMP cohort 14. I am a second year student at the University of Washington studying Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. My future goals are to become a certified public accountant. During my downtime I enjoy exploring the city, listening to music, and cooking!

I am a first-generation student from Wapato, WA. I am currently a second year at the University of Washington, intending to major in Nursing in hopes of becoming a Labor and Delivery nurse. In my free time, I love to read, explore Seattle, and attend concerts. I am a huge fan of football so catch me out in the football stadium this fall!

I am a first-generation student from Toppenish, Washington and I was part of CAMP cohort 12. I am currently a senior studying Finance and Economics. My goals for the future are to hopefully have a career in Finance and travel the world. In my free time, I like to watch movies (favorite movie is probably Nacho Libre). I absolutely loved the CAMP program and cannot wait to support the incoming cohort.
