In 1946-1948 the Tokyo War Crimes Trials came. The Trials revealed the truth of what the Japanese had done to the Chinese. There were prosecution cases between Japan and the eleven Allied nations: Australia, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, the Soviet Union and the United States of America. There were also three classes of prosecution during the trials; Classes “A, B, and C.”Class“A” covered general “crimes against peace” and classes “B” and “C” covered crimes against humanity like rape, and torture. There were ten different locations in China that the trials were held and about “5,000” were tried, “900” were executed and over half were imprisoned for life. McArthur was in charge of the Tribunal Trials where there were “28 military men” who were suspected of the atrocities done to the Chinese; there were out of the 28 men, 9 civilians and 19 military men.
