New Book by a Former Patient and Survivor

HATC celebrates a 2023 publication written by a former patient and survivor. As Far as You Can Go Before You Have to Come Back, by Alle C. Hall, tells the story of an incest survivor who uses Tai chi to find the self-respect stripped from her as a child and the healthy sexuality she desires. Alle recently shared that writing this book was partly inspired by the help she received from HATC during a period of mental health challenge that was rooted in childhood sexual trauma. Alle stated, “It is due to HATC’s generous care that today, I have a great marriage and two emotionally healthy children. Not only that, but I also got my first novel published.” HATC congratulates Alle on her accomplishments!
