Empowerment In Our Resiliency
Join us in Seattle, Washington
On behalf of Leadership Without Borders—University of Washington we are excited to invite you to our Undocu Summit 2023. After almost four years the summit will return to in-person on Thursday June 15, 2023.
This year’s theme, Empowerment in our Resiliency, highlights continual growth through our fullest potential, diversity, and self-determination. The summit will explore essential components of empowerment that include the tools, information, resources, and the freedom within the undocumented community to continue to achieve common goals and live our purpose.
In 2020 the COVID-19 Pandemic changed our lives completely, including the way we work and interacted with one another. However, we were fortunate to work remotely in 2021 and continued with our efforts to plan the Undocu Summit virtually. This conference is a bi-annual event that consists of workshops and keynote speakers highlighting the tremendous work and advocacy impacting immigrant and undocumented communities.
We are working hard to continue this tradition to host the summit in June. At the University of Washington along with other higher education institutions we continue to work with and for undocumented students. We are all collaborating to learn, network, find common partners and bring important information to our institutions for the benefit of our campus communities and current & future students.
If you are dedicated staff or offices already working with undocumented students on your campus, or if you are looking to expand your insight and knowledge this is the summit for you! We will be bringing together educators, community organizers, students and allies to uplift and celebrate immigrant and undocumented communities.
We will be updating our website with more information regarding keynote speakers, workshops, and registration information.
Registration is open now through Friday, June 9th at 5 pm PST.
The registration fee is $75 per person.
