The WTO History Project is a data and interview archive documenting the activities of those who organized and participated in the public demonstrations at the World trade Organization ministerial meetings held in Seattle in 1999. CCCE was a partner in the funding, design, and conduct of this research.

The project is housed in the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies at the University of Washington. The project gathers interviews and primary source materials used to document the organization of the WTO protests held in Seattle to protest the WTO Ministerial meeting in late 1999. Their unique collection of interviews with protest organizers and participants sheds light on the behind-the-scenes cooperative (and sometimes contentious) relationships among social movement organizations involved in the protests.
