Accredits monitors who can then certify compliance with various official
European production initiatives. Initially started to certify Italian
companies' compliance with ISO 9000 regulations. "The goal of SINCERT
was clear from the very beginning: to strengthen the credibility, both
at the domestic and international level, of bodies operating in the certification
sector, be it the certification of products, company quality assurance
systems or personnel."

all over the world. Founded in 1972." The major umbrella organization
of the organic agriculture movement. Almost all organic certification
schemes are based on the IFOAM criteria.
Independent Organic Inspectors
Association
Organic Certification association, member of IFOAM, Organic Certifiers
Council, Organic Materials Review Institute, the Organic Trade Association,
the Organic Law Institute, and Coop America. Certifies according to desired
code.
Organic Trade Association
"The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is a membership based business
association representing the organic industry in Canada, the United States
and Mexico. Members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers,
farmer associations, brokers, manufacturers, consultants, distributors
and retailers. Established in 1985 as the Organic Foods Production Association
of North America, the Organic Trade Association works to promote organic
products in the marketplace and to protect the integrity of organic standards.
