The Oral History Project Team is pleased to announce that the interview of Mr. Paul Liao (廖保和先生) and Mrs. Meiyea(廖美雅女士) was completed on May 22th & 29th, 2016 at the narrator’s residence. Mr. John Yang(楊豐州先生) and Mrs. Hui-Chen Sun (孙慧真女士) worked as the interviewer, and Ms. Su-Ching Wang (王素卿女士) worked as the photographer.

On Sunday, Feb. 19th, 2017. We were honored to have Mr. John Chou (周昭亮先生)  as a speaker of our monthly  community forum.

2017年二月19日，我們很榮幸邀請到周昭亮先生作為我們二月社區論壇的演講者。

演講者周昭亮先生現為中華民國僑務諮詢委員、民進黨西雅圖支黨部主委、民進黨海外發展部委員、華聲報發行人、出頭天工程顧問公司總裁。曾任大西雅圖區台灣同鄉會會長、中華民國僑務委員、民進黨美西黨部執行委員、西雅圖台美人傳統文化週主席、西雅圖市政府發展建築局工程師等，也是我們口述歷史項目的顧問委員。

華聲報， 一份在西雅圖與波特蘭發行的報紙。從1988年在現今的西雅圖唐人街滬江村原址開始發展了多年，這份曾經是華州第二大中文報紙，現在似乎將走入歷史。為什麼？從2000年開始接手的華聲報發行人周昭亮先生將現身說法，將辦報的心得與趣聞告訴各位。
