Join the University of Washington Autism Center, in partnership with FTF Behavioral Consulting, for this two-day training that provides an in-depth exploration of contemporary, compassionate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices designed to improve relationships, safety, and meaningful outcomes for autistic individuals and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. Title: ADOS Introductory Course Workshop

The ADOS-2 Introductory/Clinical Workshop is a two-day introductory training on how to administer and score ADOS-2 modules 1-4 and a prerequisite for the Advanced Research Workshop and Toddler Module Workshop. Two live demonstrations and in-depth coding discussions will be provided at the training. At the end of the workshop participants will be provided with training videos and protocols to aid further practice.
Prerequisites: This training is designed for providers with at least a Master's level degree and in a professional field related to autism spectrum disorder (e.g. psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physicians, licensed marriage & family therapists, licensed mental health counselors, teachers). Individuals who do not have a master's level degree but have training in administering standardized tests are also welcome to attend.

The ADOS-2 Toddler Module Workshop reviews the administration, scoring, and coding guidelines in a lecture, demonstration, and group discussion format. This workshop is appropriate for researchers and clinicians who have completed the Introductory Clinical Workshop on Modules 1–4 and are seeking further training for developing clinical competence using the ADOS-2 with toddlers. The workshop is also appropriate for professionals who have experience in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and formal testing, such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physicians, and psychologists.
Prerequisites: All trainees are expected to have prior training in modules 1-4 of the ADOS / ADOS-2 (e.g. attendance at an ADOS or ADOS-2 clinical and/or research workshop).
