Apex Summer Camp
Mission: Apex Summer Camp provides an evidence‐based program designed specifically for children with ASD and ADHD. Our fun day camp environment is designed to build social and behavioral skills, positive relationships, and self‐esteem in structured recreational and learning activities. The Apex Summer Camp program focuses on building social and behavioral skills in outside-the-clinic settings.
Philosophy: Naturalistic environments offer the best opportunities for learning and generalizing meaningful skills. Apex involves summer camp activities that all children can enjoy with an underlying structure to maximize social learning. We develop individualized goals and collect behavioral data across all activities for monitoring new skill development.
Campers: Children aged 6-12 with ASD, ADHD, as well as siblings and peers. The 5-week program runs Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm. The program offers 150 hours of treatment, roughly the equivalent of 2 years of clinic or school-based social skills training. Leading experts are engaged to provide clinical training, supervision, support, and consultation.
