The Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives (PEARLS) is a national program for late-life depression. PEARLS brings high quality mental health care into community-based settings that reach vulnerable older adults.
HPRC works with local and national partners to develop, test, and disseminate programs that encourage health-promoting behaviors in the workplace. We particularly emphasize reducing health inequities among ethnic and cultural minorities and low-income populations.
- Workplace Solutions helps employers adopt evidence-based best practices by assessing their current practices, making recommendations for improvements, and assisting with implementation of health and wellness programs that reduce the risk of chronic disease. Workplace Solutions is now a program of the American Cancer Society.
- HealthLinks is a version of Workplace Solutions tailored to small businesses. The program aims to increase the wellness of lower-wage employees through evidence-based interventions and onsite implementation assistance.
