The University of Washington Health Promotion Research Center (UW HPRC) is a collaborating center of the Managing Epilepsy Well (MEW) Network and has been participating in the network since 2008. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention established the network in 2007 through its Prevention Research Centers (PRC) network.
MEW network members come from U.S. universities, community-based organizations, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We work together to promote epilepsy self-management research and improve the quality of life for people with epilepsy.
Robert Fraser and Erica Johnson lead the UW Health Promotion Research Center’s efforts and collaboration within the national network.
