Site Onboarding Tasks
No less than six weeks prior to the start of the rotation, please contact the site coordinator for additional onboarding instructions for each facility. Additionally, for Wyoming Medical Center, please review the important information below regarding the HR paperwork for WMC.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING FOR WMC:
- WMC only accepts BLS from the American Heart Association. The facility will not accept BLS from Red Cross.
- ACLS is NOT required for UW medical students at this time.
- Students need to follow the drug testing policy of the SOM and do NOT need to complete an additional drug test at the site on the first day of the rotation.
- Letters of Good Standing and Certificate of Liability Insurance are available to students in eValue and are not sent directly from the school.

Housing
A single bedroom efficiency apartment is available at Masterson Place in Casper, WY. The phone number for Masterson Place is 307-237-5933. Please contact the site coordinator to let her know whether you will or will not be staying in this apartment.
