Site Onboarding Tasks

No less than six weeks prior to the start of the rotation, please contact the student coordinator to begin onboarding.

Student credentialing and onboarding for clerkships that rotate through Logan Health are now handled via myClinicalExchange, a web-based platform. The Montana WWAMI office will add the rotation dates to myClinicalExchange and the medical center team will then approve the rotation and review any onboarding documents within that system. All forms must be completed no less than 30 days prior to the start of the rotation.

TB Testing

Logan Health requires proof of a negative TB test(s).Even though this is no longer a requirement of the UWSOM, students are required to comply with any site specific TB testing requirements. Please provide proof of the following to Logan Health:

Negative Quantiferon or T-Spot TB within the last 12 months

OR

Record of two negative TB skin tests within the last 12 months

OR

If you are a positive responder, you must have a chest x-ray and documentation from a provider. Please follow the most current guidelines concerning TB testing in regard to COVID-19 vaccination. Please enter the date of your most recent Tuberculosis results (TB PPD/X-ray) in the value column

Housing

Logan Health partners with the University of Washington to provide students with housing. The Logan Health Student Coordinator will email additional information, the housing contract, and the rules during the onboarding process.
