Then follow this checklist. It's a key to winning in advance!
DO
- Read and follow the rules
- Create something you'd be proud to share with ANYONE
- Focus on TRIO and its impact on students or alumni
- Help create powerful, positive stories about TRIO
- Be creative. Have fun!
- Use a pocketmedia device to capture your video
Use our resources to plan, shoot, edit, and upload your video- Spell-check your work (it may keep you from getting disqualified!)
- Get written permission from people featured in your video
- Allow YouTube "Ratings" and add a "uwtriolive2" keyword
- Upload your video and complete the submission form by April 30th
Tell everyone you know to view and rate your video
DON'T
Use anything that's copyrighted (including the music from that CD)- Make it over a minute long
- Violate YouTube's Community Guidelines
- Have anyone on your team that isn't affiliated with TRIO
- Form mixed teams of students, alumni, and staff
- Include last names or email addresses of people under 18
- Forget to complete the submission form after uploading your video!
