Mike Sadler

•Mike is interested in evolutionary dynamics and life in extreme environments. He has worked as a laboratory technician for a municipal sewage treatment facility and as a youth rock climbing instructor. He also served as a member of the Snohomish County Marine Resource Committee; an advisory group to county government promoting marine research and conservation under the Northwest Straits Initiative.

•He grew up in Ogden Utah where he received his B.S. in Microbiology from Weber State University. He studied bacterial insertion sequences while obtaining his M.S. from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla MO.

•Outside of the lab he enjoys rock climbing, running, and hiking.
