Astrobiology research areas of interest: Habitability and Life in the Solar System, Terrestrial Planet Evolution, Geochemical Evolution of Venus.

I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, and spent significant time in San Enrique, Philippines, during my childhood. I completed my B.S. at Oregon State University with a major in Geology and a minor in Music. At OSU, I worked as a Geochemist Technician in a Hydrogeology group studying the weathering patterns of soils from the Cascade volcanic arc. During the Summer of 2022, I was a NASA SUPPR intern studying Venus’ possible climate transition from habitable to uninhabitable using geochemical modeling.

My research at UW studies Venus’ past conditions to better understand the evolution of terrestrial planets. Using coupled-evolutionary models and laboratory work, I hope to elucidate the divergent evolution of Earth and Venus to better interpret upcoming observations of rocky exoplanets.

Outside of school, I love playing the piano, painting, playing with my cat, and hiking at rock-hounding sites.
