Susan Garcia

I grew up in San Diego, CA then attended Brandeis University in MA. In my undergraduate lab, we studied cellular organization and behavior in archaea, the third domain of life. My research furthered our understanding of the cell shape diversity across all halophilic archaea. Outside of school, I like to go to the movies, jump in lakes, and paddle board/kayak! Now, I am a grad student in Oceanography, studying under Dr. Anitra Ingalls
