I’m Greta, a third-year graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences. I study the Earth’s climate system and specifically the relationship between plants and the atmosphere.
I’m also curious about why we should care about this relationship – how understanding it will help us understand climate change, how we can protect ourselves against the impacts of climate change most effectively, and how it might help us understand how to detect life elsewhere in the universe.
Before coming to graduate school, I worked as a science communicator with particular interests in climate change and energy technologies.
