Guadalupe is a graduate student working with Jim Davenport doing research at the intersection of stellar variability and its application to planet detection and habitability. Specifically she is studying how stellar flares vary across spectral type. She is creating a flare model that will help us understand more about stellar variability and aid in the detection and confirmation of exoplanets.
