Kimberly graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in astronomy, physics, and philosophy in 2017. She then worked as a systems engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 2 years where I enjoyed designing and researching a number of projects such as the Europa Lander, Mars Sample Return, Mars 2020, and much more.
Kimberly is now working with David Catling and Tim Elam at the intersection of Martian spectroscopy and the co-evolution of life with its environment.
In her free time you can find her figure skating, mountaineering, making music, or cooking
