This interactive map shows the location of a selection of the hundreds of federally funded public works projects in King County in 1933 and 1934. Click the pins to see pictures and learn about projects. Zoom closer using the google tools.

Both the Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA) and the Civil Works Administration (CWA) sponsored work relief projects, including road and building construction, food and clothing banks, park and landscaping projects. The green pins are CWA projects. Blue pins FERA. Read more about the agencies and projects below.
