Leadership Panel Discussions
Elevate your leadership with proven strategies for fostering a culture of engagement. Leadership panel discussions explore engagement-related topics that have been identified as crucial by work groups across UW Medicine.
These 60-minute sessions each focus on a theme addressed by one of the following workforce survey items:
- I am satisfied with the recognition I receive for doing a good job.
- I am involved in decisions that affect my work.
- This organization provides career development opportunities.
- My work unit works well together.
- Different work units work well together in this organization.
These topics were selected because they were chosen by UW Medicine work groups as the top five items to work on through improvement plans.
Each zoom session will feature a panel of leaders known for their positive leadership and team practices in that area. Gain firsthand insights into the specific methods they use and walk away with actionable ideas you can implement right away in your work units.

April 25, 12:00-1:00 PM: Boosting engagement through employee recognition
Being recognized for one’s work is a key factor in employee engagement.
