Peer Leadership Coaching Groups

Peer Leadership Coaching Groups are facilitated small groups that accelerate the growth of leaders at all levels. They provide a confidential setting in which leaders can get input and support on handling the real-world issues they face, while developing their coaching skills. The groups are based on research that shows that a key source of leader development is support from peers who experience similar challenges.

 

How they work

Groups of 6-8 leaders meet via Zoom 6 times for 2 hours each time over 4 months. At the meetings, participants have an opportunity to network, share concerns, work through difficult scenarios, and seek, receive, and provide input on issues presented by fellow group members. The groups are facilitated by a consultant from Organization Development & Training for the initial 4-month period. After that time, group members decide whether to continue as a group, and how they will self-manage meetings.

Who should attend?

These groups are offered to leaders at all levels who oversee the work of others. The groups are composed of leaders who share similar levels of responsibility (for example, directors with directors, supervisors with supervisors, etc.).
