NASA awarded $11M to continue the work of the UW’s Virtual Planetary Laboratory (VPL) for the next 5 years (an award that also indirectly funds the UW Astrobiology Program through University matching). The VPL is also now part of the new NASA Nexus for Exoplanet System Science research coordination network, in which Victoria Meadows will play a new leadership role.
