Gordon (Max) Showalter (Oceanography) successfully defended their dissertation on Wednesday August 19th via Zoom!

Max will hang around the UW as a postdoc with Prof. Jody Deming until February 2021 when he will move to Washington DC for a 1 year appointment as a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow!
