UWAB Alum Giada Arney (Dual-Title PhD Astronomy & Astrobiology, 2016) was recently featured in a highlight from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for Women’s Equality Day 2020!
After graduating from the University of Washington, Giada began working with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center where she continues today. She is also an integral part of the UW based Virtual Planetary Laboratory research group and servers as the project’s Deputy Primary Investigator and Task B (The Earth Through Time) co-lead. Her research with VPL focuses on modeling and measuring properties of planets with an emphasis on worlds enshrouded by global cloud and haze layers.
