Community Welcome Celebrations

These celebrations are  part of the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity Welcome Daze series of events, created as a collaborative effort by the Kelly ECC, in partnership with ASUW Commission offices,  and the UW Affinity Groups to welcome incoming EOP first-year and transfer students. Each celebration is as unique as its community and features a cultural, social, and networking element which welcomes and introduces new students to the wealth of resources, services, and support networks the University of Washington has to offer.

Welcome Asian and Asian American freshman and transfer students!  Join the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center as we celebrate your acceptance into the University of Washington! This will be hosted in person at the Kelly ECC with a welcome from the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, catered food from a local restaurant, an opportunity to socialize with new students, learn about resources and get involved with student organizations and events on campus. We will also have giveaways and a goodie bag for each participant.
