Our Purpose

The Purpose of the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center Student Advisory Board at the University of Washington is to provide an open space for student groups affiliated with the Ethnic Cultural Center to engage in discussion on ongoing matters pertaining to diverse communities on campus

About Us

The Kelly ECC Student Advisory Board is comprised of ECC- affiliated student organizations, student leaders, student staff, and invested community members that represent the diversity of student communities within the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center

A New Transition

As the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity updates its approach to gathering student voices and feedback, we at the Kelly ECC have an opportunity to focus more directly on the center’s needs and the communities we serve. The transition to the Kelly ECC Student Advisory Board (ECC SAB) gives students a dedicated space to share what matters to them and what they need from our center. We hope these conversations will help guide our programs, strengthen connections among student organizations, and keep student perspectives at the center of our work.
