The ASUW American Indian Student Commission (AISC) and Graduation Celebration Committee, along with its partners, are proud to announce this year’s šǝqǝd tiiɫ slǝʔibǝš. The event honors the accomplishments of American Indian and Alaska Native graduating students and peers.

Join us in honoring your accomplishments at the University of Washington along with your family and friends. The graduation celebration includes a cultural entry, the presentation of this year’s print, music, and a slideshow. Registration is now closed!

About šǝqǝd tiiɫ slǝʔibǝš

šǝqǝd tiiɫ slǝʔibǝš (Honor The Journey), formerly known as Ravensfeast, is held annually with sponsorship from campus partners including the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity, the Center for American Indian & Indigenous Studies (CAIIS), the American Indian Studies Department, wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House, and the UW Alumni Association Multicultural Alumni Partnership.

This year it will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026

Any UW student (undergraduate or graduate/doctoral candidate) completing a degree in Spring 2025, Summer 2025 or Fall 2025.

Guests are encouraged to park in Central Garage or Padelford parking garage, visit here for more visitor parking information.

Participation is FREE, for graduating students and their families, but there is limited seating so sign up as soon as possible.

Registration is closed!

Check-in time will begin approximately 1 hour before the event. You must be present at least 30 minutes before the event begins in order to participate.

The celebration gift is from the graduation celebration committee to the participating students who have registered for the 2025 šǝqǝd tiiɫ slǝʔibǝš. You must be present for the celebration to receive the gift.

We have limited seating, therefore we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

The graduation celebration is planned by a committee of students, staff and faculty across campus.
