On Friday October 18th, six scientists turned into slammers for one night as they competed with each other to bring an audience of the general public the clearest and most entertaining explanation of a topic in physics. Each had only 10 minutes to wow the audience with secrets and subtleties of nature but with no fuss, no intellectual fog, and absolutely no unexplained jargon.
The competition was fierce and all of the presentations were exciting and entertaining but only one could come out on top, and by a vote of the audience our very own Mike Wong was crowned the “Slammer Supreme” and took 1st place in the competition!
