Professor David Catling Awarded $1.2 M from the Simons Foundation for Continued Work into the Origin of Life

UWAB Professor David Catling (Earth & Space Sciences Dept.) was recently awarded an additional $1.2M over 3 years (2020-2023) from the Simons Foundation for continued work as an Investigator in the Simons Collaboration on the Origin of Life!

The specific project is entitled “Environmental Conditions for the Origin of Life and Early Life” and has UWAB Co-Investigators Professors Jon Toner and Roger Buick in the Earth & Space Sciences Department,  and Sarah Keller and Roy Black in the Department of Chemistry!
