Nadine AyudianiNadine Ayudiani did her Behavior Analyst internship at the UWAC while pursuing a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analyst at the University of Washington. She was born and raised in Indonesia, but had lived in Seattle for 7 years at the time of her internship. She received my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2018 (also from the UW!). After graduating from the UW, She worked as an early childhood educator, teaching a class of 14 toddlers, until deciding to enter the UW’s Master in Applied Behavior Analysis program. |
Jasmin BarrettJasmin Barrett, a clinical psychology doctoral student at Seattle Pacific University, completed her UWAC practicum during 2023-2024. She received her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and early childhood and family studies from the University of Washington in 2021. Jasmin is particularly passionate about family systems and children’s psychological development. Outside of school she enjoys bouldering, reading and a good cup of coffee. |
Cunxin (Tracy) ChengCunxin (Tracy) Cheng completed her practicum at UWAC while a graduate student in the Applied Behavior Analysis program at the UW. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Elementary Education at Arizona State University. Tracy is deeply passionate in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. |
Taylor DeMottaTaylor DeMotta is a 4th year clinical psychology doctoral student at Seattle Pacific University. Her hometown is Honolulu, Hawaii and she previously earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Washington. Taylor will be at the UW Autism Center this year as a practicum student learning and participating in diagnostic evaluations. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, water activities, and walking her dog, Rory. |
Katya DowneyKatya Downey completed a practicum with UWAC while in her second year of her master’s degree in social work, with a focus on clinical work. She loves research, problem-solving, and working with neurodivergent individuals and families, which has been supported by her previous experience working with autistic self-advocates for the ARC of King County. When she is not in the office, you can typically find her taking a long walk somewhere with an audiobook. |
Miles Feller-MendeMiles Feller-Mende is from Salt Lake City, Utah and loves traveling, backpacking, and most water sports. His experience as a counselor for Juvenile Rehabilitation inspired him to pursue advanced graduate studies and clinical practice in psychology at Seattle Pacific University. Miles prioritizes families, community, language, and culture for interrupting unjust systemic factors experienced by marginalized identities. |
Kate GranathKate Granath is a social work master’s student at the University of Washington who completed her advanced practicum at the UWAC in Seattle. She received her bachelor’s degrees in biology and interdisciplinary studies from Seattle University. Her current work focuses on equitable healthcare, neurodiversity, technology, and our digitally mediated society. |
Amie KangAmie Kang is a counseling psychology PhD student at Boston College and a practicum student working with Dr. Greenson at UWAC. Amie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at UC Berkeley and her master’s in education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She enjoys working with families and has a strong interest in understanding the influence of culture and context on human development. Outside of school and work, Amie enjoys spending time with her family, including her energetic two-year-old. |
Kate MacDuffieDr. Kate MacDuffie was a post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Washington Autism Center. Her research interests are in the field of neuroethics, with a specific focus on the ethical use of predictive neuroimaging in pediatric disorders. See her lab website here! |
Lauren PerovsekLauren Perovsek was a practicum student working under Dr. Greenson at UWAC and a student at SPU in the clinical psychology doctoral program. Lauren received her bachelors’ degrees in psychology and biological sciences in 2019 at Ohio University. Since then, she has enjoyed working in both clinical and research aspects of psychology. During her free time, she loves doing any outdoor activities, such as paddle boarding, hiking, and skiing! |
Amber PetersonAmber Peterson was a clinical psychology doctoral student and training at our Tacoma clinic. She received her bachelor of arts in psychology from the UW and her master of arts in clinical psychology from Antioch University. Amber loves working with children and in her free time, she and her daughter enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest. |
Ai RoachAi Roach, CBT is a Behavior Analysis Intern at UW Autism Center Tacoma. She is working towards her BCBA credential and master’s degree in Special Education in the ABA program at the University of Washington. She taught English to children in her home country, Japan for many years before moving to America. She received her BFA, major in fiber arts from the University of Washington in 2008. She has worked both in an ABA clinic as a behavior technician and in Special Education classrooms as a paraeducator at public schools. She is excited about meeting new clients and helping them thrive through the LAUNCH program at UW Autism Center. |
Taniyah RoachTaniyah Roach is a doctoral student studying clinical psychology at Seattle Pacific University. Currently, Taniyah is a practicum student at UWAC and works under Dr. Greenson. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from University of Nevada, Reno. Since then, she’s had roles on both the clinical and research side in the field. She is passionate about working with children and families. Her clinical interest are in: Autism Spectrum Disorder, neuropsychology, neurodevelopmental disorders, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, prenatal drug exposure, parent-child interaction, and evidence-based interventions for children and their families. |
Lupita SantillanDr. Lupita Santillan completed a practicum with UWAC while a post-doctoral clinical research fellow at the University of Washington Autism Center. Dr. Santillan completed her PhD at the University of Washington, and her APA -accredited doctoral internship at the University of Southern California, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. While on internship, Dr. Santillan provided therapy, assessment, and case management services to youth and families from diverse backgrounds and completed a specialization in trauma-informed care. Dr. Santillan’s clinical interests include the diagnosis, intervention, and ongoing care of children with developmental differences and co-occurring social-emotional and behavioral difficulties. Dr. Santillan is passionate about providing culturally-responsive care to children and their families and the provision of mental and behavioral health in Spanish. |
Taylor SaundersTaylor Saunders completed a practicum with UWAC Tacoma while a graduate student in the MSW program at the UWT School of Social Work. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington State University. As a Simon Family Fellow she is interested in expanding and improving autism services for adults. |
Cale SmartCale Smart was a graduate student studying Counseling Psychology at Northwest University. He is fascinated by human development and how each person develops uniquely along their own arch. Outside of school and work, Cale loves being a father to his son, Oliver, and going on hikes with his family and their dog Maisie. |
Rachel (Yuxuan) SunRachel (Yuxuan) Sun is a sixth-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the University of Washington. Rachel will be working as a practicum student with Dr. Ella Vanderbilt-Adriance at UWAC. Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication at UC Santa Barbara and her master’s in School Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Rachel is passionate in providing culturally responsive practices to support autistic youth and their families. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys being outdoors, hiking and cooking. |
