When?

  • Parent groups will be held each month and consist of 4 1-hour sessions on Thursdays from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm 
  • Morning groups may be added based on community interest. Please let us know if you are interested in attending a group at a different time.

What is the Cost?

  • $100 for 4 sessions.  Need-based scholarships are available to cover up to 80% of the cost.

What is the format of this program?

  • Group Sessions – 4 weeks of 1-hour group sessions on Thursdays at 4 PM with you and other parents via Zoom. 
  • Instructors:  Annette Estes, PhD, and Robin Finlayson, MEd, BCBA

Who is this group for?

  • This program is for parents of children with ASD and sleep problems, such as bedtime resistance, difficulty falling asleep, not getting enough sleep, and night wakings.
  • These workshops will teach parents about the science of sound sleep and share practical strategies for improving children’s sleep problems. Parents will learn from UWAC staff with expertise in addressing sleep problems and have opportunities to connect with and learn from other families with children who are struggling with sleep.
