In 2018 I went on an early fall start program to South Korea. I spent a total of six weeks traveling through the country, visiting the cities of Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan, and Chuncheon. As I was curating my project, I was thinking of how I best wanted to represent my overall experience in South Korea. And with that, I decided that I wanted my project to be a video that quite literally shows my experience from my view – auditorily and visually.
The song playing in the background is “Flowers ft. Nori” by In Love With A Ghost. It was a song I often listened to throughout my trip to unwind and relax. I hope you all enjoy.
Suad was born and raised in Seattle and is currently finishing up a double degree in Comparative History of Ideas and Asian Languages & Literature at the University of Washington with a double minor in Informatics and Korean. She studied abroad in South Korea in early fall 2018. Suad has a huge interest in language learning and graphic design.
