Caring for a loved one with HD can be both physically and emotionally demanding. The combination of loss, grief, prolonged stress and emotional turmoil, along with the physical demands of caregiving, can place caregivers at risk for burnout and significant health problems.
At the University of Washington HDSA Center of Excellence we are committed to educate and support caregivers in providing care for individuals with HD.
