Arts, Naturally An arts and nature experience for people with memory loss and their families. Friday, May 2, 2 pm- 4 pm Join the Frye Art Museum and the Memory Hub in a special free dementia-friendly Creative Aging program inspired by art, nature and poetry, in partnership with Seattle Public Library's 2025 Seattle Reads book, You Are Here: Poetry in the Natural World by Ada Limón. Designed for people with dementia and their care partners, participants will register as a pair for an afternoon workshop from 2-4pm on Friday, May 2 We will start by examining and discussing art inspired by nature at the Frye Art Museum and then proceed across the parking lot to the Memory Hub for a hands-on garden activity and refreshments. Please register by April 15. Capacity is 18 participants (9 couples of persons with dementia and care partners). |
