This is a more personal piece about the culmination of our trip: a multi-day trek across the high Atlas Mountains in order to reach the village of Amsouzert. For the majority of the trek, we had no cell service or access to utilities like running tap water, electricity, or paved roads. We were trekking and camping across untouched landscapes, being fully immersed in the natural wonders of the Earth. At night I spent hours looking up at the night sky, providing one of my most powerful memories of my experience. This trek felt like the culmination of my trip because I was able to spend this time truly reflecting upon my journey and how much I had grown over the past few weeks.
