Read a story about a girl who learns to try new foods and finds them to be delicious!

Fishing for Fruits and Vegetables
Children go "fishing" for fruits and vegetables and discuss what they "catch". They also get a chance to try a few fruits and vegetables.

Fruit
Read a book about fruit, exploring the inside and the outside of many different kinds of fruit, and how they grow. Discuss how fruits are "yes" foods, take a look at some real fruits, and taste them!

Fruit Favorites
Emphasize fruit as a low-phe food! Discuss different types of fruits and taste them!

I Will Not Ever Never Ever Eat a Tomato
Read a story about a girl who does not want to try new foods. She eventually realizes foods can be fun and they taste good too! Emphasize the importance of trying new foods and the fun of eating a variety of foods.

Lunch Time Helper
Children choose foods to make a healthy, low protein lunch.

Oliver's Fruit Salad
Read a story about a boy who learns about fruits from his grandpa's garden. He learns to try fruits and discovers he likes them! Discuss different fruits with the children...best of all they are "YES" foods!

Oliver's Vegetables
Read a story about a boy who trys new vegetables from his Grandpa's garden and likes them! Discuss different vegetables with the children...best of all they are "YES" foods!

Picky Pig - A Tale About Trying New Things
Read a story about a pig who isolates herself from all the other pigs because she doesn't like what they do or what they eat. After awhile she discovers that she enjoys trying new things and has more fun too! Emphasize the importance of trying new foods and the fun of eating a variety of foods.

The Foods We Eat
Read a story about 12 children who are learning about new foods from their friends.
