Karen Clay has over twenty years of experience providing support to patients and families facing life limiting illnesses, including working as a hospice social worker at Providence Hospice of Seattle, a Program Manager at the Washington Health Foundation, and a clinical social worker on the inpatient palliative care service at Harborview Medical Center.  Karen earned her BA in English from Georgia State University and her master’s degree in social work from University of Washington.  She is a 2015 graduate of the inaugural Cambia UW Palliative Care Training Center. In the spring of 2017, Karen became the social worker for the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center's clinic.
