Parking
Parking is available in two garages:
View Park Garage/P1 on Eighth Avenue between Alder and Jefferson streets.
Ninth and Jefferson Building garage/P3 on Terry Avenue between Jefferson and James Streets. The garages are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Valet service is available at the Ground West Lobby entrance from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
Disability Parking
Disability parking is available in all Harborview parking lots. If you or a family member has a disability and needs help parking, a valet is available at the west entrance of the medical center 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
If you have a valid state disability placard and the View Park Garage is full, or if your disability is incompatible with parking in the View Park Garage/P1, you may use valet parking at the regular parking rate.

The Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Medical Center is conveniently located in Seattle on north Beacon Hill, right off of I-5. The ADRC Clinic is located on the first floor of Building 1 (the “Old Hospital”) in Room 142. It’s right around the corner from the elevators. If you become lost on your way to an appointment, please call our clinic at 206.277.1173.
If you are driving on I-5 North:
Take exit 163, Columbian Way Exit, staying in the right lane.
Continue to stay right until you curve onto S. Columbian Way. Go through the stoplight at Spokane S, and through a second stoplight as you merge onto 15th Ave S.
Merge into the left lane and continue for 3/4 of a mile past a third stoplight.
At this light 15th Ave S. will fork. Continue to the left onto S. Columbian Way going through a fourth stoplight.
At the fifth stoplight, turn left into the entrance of the VA Puget Sound Medical Center.
Free valet parking is available at the top of the hill or free parking is available in all labeled lots.
If you are driving on I-5 South:
Stay in the left lane as you take Exit 163 onto S. Columbia Way. (Do not take the West Seattle Freeway.)
Once over the freeway, quickly merge into the far right lane. Go through the stoplight at Spokane S, and through a second stoplight as you merge onto 15th Ave S.
Merge into the left lane and continue for 3/4 of a mile past a third stoplight.
At this light 15th Ave S. will fork. Continue to the left onto S. Columbian Way going through a fourth stoplight.
