Among our aging population, diseases like Alzheimer’s are approaching epidemic proportions — and by the time they’re detected, it’s often too late for treatment. UW Bioengineering Professor Valerie Daggett will share how her team is working on tests to detect these diseases years before symptoms develop — and how her lab is creating novel treatments to stop disease progression in its tracks. Come hear more about this revolutionary work.
