Maude’s Garden Work Party at the Memory Hub 2026

 2nd Mondays, 1:30 - 2:30

Maude’s Garden’s monthly volunteer work party provides an accessible way for community members living with memory loss to give back to the garden. The work party is led by Maude’s Garden Project Lead, as well as a horticultural therapy student. Volunteers help with garden care tasks, as well as seated activities that use garden materials in practical and creative ways. Enrollment is open to up to 4 volunteers who would like to commit to this monthly service opportunity for 6 months.

We are enrolling:

Persons living with dementia and a care partner.

Persons living with early-stage memory loss who can participate independently.

Community members interested in volunteering can contact Genevieve Wanucha at gwanucha@uw.edu or 206.685.1304.
