The funding season is currently open, but we will only accept and review submissions when your organization has completed the SAO Registration process. The mission of the Student Diversity Event Fund is to support program and events which enhance the communication and exchange of multicultural perspectives and values.

All workshops will be held on the scheduled Wednesdays in the Native Room 208 at the Kelly ECC from 3:00-4:00pm and will be available as long as there is still funds available.

The Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity Academic Counseling Services (ACS) has partnered with the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center (Kelly ECC) to bring students who are EOP scholars and/or undecided about their major this exciting opportunity.

If you are an EOP scholar and are required to attend at least two approved workshops this quarter, then this counts as one of those.

Save-The-Date for the Annual ECC Awards GALA! The Obsidian Masquerade is an all black formal affair where we will honor the accomplishments of our RSO community and celebrate the exemplary work of all our student leaders!

Affiliation for Fall 2019 is now open! Please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure you are registered on Huskylink.
  2. Huskylink will prompt you with a question about your interest in affiliating with the Kelly ECC.
  3. If you are interested please check yes. And your organization will receive a follow up about next steps for affiliating.
  4. Make sure that you are the primary contact for your RSO, or that you have the updated and correct contact information for that person. Make sure that you also have the names and emails of any other officers, leaders, or points of contact for your RSO.

Get informed about the new registration process attend a Joint registration/affiliation meeting. The Kelly ECC and SAO have teamed up this year to host registration sessions in the Kelly Ethnic Cultural Theatre on the dates/times listed below. If you are interested in any of the dates please RSVP.

  • Wednesday, October 2nd, 4-6 pm
  • Wednesday, October 16th, 4-6 pm
  • Wednesday, October 23rd 4-6 pm
