Join the MBWC and Memory Hub for a screening of the documentary film The Rest I Make Up by filmmaker Michelle Merman. The film explores the later years of Cuban-American playwright, producer, and actress Maria Irene Fornés, who maintained a vibrant creative life during her journey with dementia. The film focuses on Fornés’ later life and includes stirring images of her vibrant years in the heyday of the ‘60s and ‘70s as she made her mark in the avant-garde NYC theatre scene.

The MBWC and Memory Hub are community partners for the event, and the Frye Art Museum is helping lead discussion.

Location: Skid Road Theatre at Beneath the Streets, 102 Cherry Street, Seattle, WA 98104 (Not a wheelchair accessible venue)
